1. Tatanka: Story of the Bison



Located at the northern end of Deadwood, Tatanka: Story of The Bison is an exhibition that is bigger than life to commemorate the millions of bison that once roamed the Great Plains of the region, as well as the culture that once developed with their existence. Along with admiring the beautiful artwork recording the movement of hunting bison, visitors to Tatanka also enjoyed the exhibits at the Center for Interpretation of the People of the Northern Delta and watched the interpretation presentation. Lakota takes place daily.

2. George S. Mickelson Trail



Stretching more than 100 miles north and south through west South Dakota, George S. Mickelson Trail offers bicycles, hiking, and priceless riders to experience the Black Hills National Forest. Formerly the North Burlington Railway, the George S. Mickelson Trail crosses bridges, through rock tunnels and reaches an even layer as it passes through some of South Dakota's most beautiful areas.
